Album Remixed and Re-mastered
We may have jumped the gun in releasing our début album in June. This is a learning process for us in recording and producing our own music, and the fact is, what was released in June, just wasn’t produced very good.
We have now cleaned up and re-mixed all the recordings, and the improvements are ten fold. Don’t get us wrong, it is still lo-fi and rough around the edges, it was never going to compete with professionally recorded music, but what we have now is something that whilst being rough, has been done as good as is possible with the recording equipment we have.
Anyway, we should have them up into the online stores in the coming month, as well as making headway to getting the CDs manufactured. Official release date for the album is now 15th October 2009.
Oh yeah, we have some killer new songs in the line up just waiting to be recorded, it’s time to get this wagon rolling again. Watch this space.

Debut Album is Officially Released
Time to celebrate. I thought this day would never come, but it’s finally here. Our album is now officially available to purchase via most major download stores worldwide, such as iTunes, Amazon and Napster.
The album is the first release from our own label Epicene Records and will be available as a Limited Edition CD to 1000 pieces in the coming months. We hope you will all show your support and get yourselves a copy.
The album was recorded by trial and error in our own little home studio, basically some dodgy gear cobbled together in various bedrooms and a landing, if you’ve followed these posts you will know how it came about. The result is a raw, noisy, lo-fi album made with 100% passion and some awesome riffs, and we are proud of it.
It is the first of many to come from this strange vehicle known as Counts Of The Netherworld.

New Website
Hey hey!
Look at this shiny new thing. Got all the blog you need. Clicky things, and scrolly things, and a little red x that makes it all go away. That’s right, it’s a website. Took the best part of yesterday and today to do this. Yes, we are so down with the DIY crew that we even do our own website.
It still needs some adjustment and content and other boring things I find extremely interesting.
Look, we have the man himself watching over us, guiding us with his shining light.

LO-FI DIY Debut Single Released Today
Today sees the official release of our debut LO-FI DIY single ‘She Rules The Earth’ into digital download stores.
The song ‘She Rules The Earth’ is from our upcoming album due to be released later in the year, not too much later we hope.
When we say LO-FI DIY, we mean it. This song, as well as the album to follow, was self recorded/produced/mastered etc on no more than a handful of pretty dodgy gear.
It is not without it’s faults, though we did a bang up job considering it was recorded with the following;
Piece of shit PA Head used for mic pre amps, one SM57 for guitars, one BETA57 for vocals, 1.7GHZ P4 computer (2001 model) with Cubase SX 2 as the recorder.
no money
no fancy studios
no fancy designers
no fancy record producers
no fancy monitoring system
no fancy promoters
no fancy photographer
no fancy hair cuts
just two hands and a brain
Follow these links to hear the single now.
'She Rules The Earth' available now on digital download
